Most of the wizards of information technology are conversant with headlines of the above kind. The advent of the computer age andthe ensuing ubiquitous availability of the internet have helped to further advance whatever technologies that were already in existence; from the healthcare industry, food production, communication, to crime detection and prevention, etcetera. Most of these can be seen as positive developments that generally help humankind. As a result we are becoming more and more dependent on computers for quite an array of activities we perform. However, while the general intention of the inventors and the great thinkers was for positive use of their ideas, there is almost always someone somewhere who finds ways of circumventing the original intended usage of such inventions. This is especially so with the use of computers.
